Genesis 6
I always thought the number of living years of man decreased due to The Fall but I see in 6:3 that it was decreased after The Fall but not due to The Fall. What did He mean by "My Spirit will not put up with humans for such a long time." Can we lose the abidance of the Holy Spirit due to general sin or a particular sin for the remainder of our life on Earth?

Nah, i think what this is saying is that God is only gonna put up with humanity for 120 years. now some people view this that we can only live to be 120 but thats no true cause many people live past 120. others believe this was the amount of time before the flood, where he would destroy humanity. I however believe that this could be a symbolic number. You see a jubilie year is a 50th year. if God meant he was only gonna deal with humanity for 120 jubilee years that would be 6000 years. After 6000 years (and this Hebrew years based off the moon not our 365 day calender) Christ would return for his 1000 year reign. ^ days of work 7th day of rest. ^ years of working the ground and 7th year rest the land. 6000 years of dealing with humanity and 1000 years of peace.

yes but there are a few people that live past it. I am 23 according to the Creators calender. The Jubilee year thing is just a messianic theory but if its true we only have like 4 years left til we reach the 6000 year mark. the official Jewish year is 5770 but they believe they lost at least 160 years when they went into Babylonia captivity and the Babylons destroyed their genealogy.
